Colouring your quilt

Using coloured pencils on your quilt is easy:
Preparation: Trace the design on the fabric using a lightbox or well lit window, with a 2B pencil. Press freezer paper to the wrong side to prevent the fabric from stretching while they are coloured.
Shade the areas inside the stitching with coloured pencils as shown from the pattern you are working on.
Lightly paint textile medium over the coloured areas with a small, soft paintbrush. Do this process slowly and carefully as any medium that gets onto an area that is not coloured will stain.
Allow to dry completely then remove the freezer paper.
